Today in society, there is a lot of pressure put on us as people.  Whether it is related to school, work, or family, stress often consumes us. As a high schooler, I never feel like I have enough time. I am forced to manage my social life, my job, my school work, and my sport, and it can easily become too much to handle.

As college approaches, it is important that we as high schoolers learn how to manage our stress, so we are more prepared for what we are going to endure in college. In the photo, the subjects study area is messy.  There are random flashcards scattered across her desk, and notes everywhere.  It is impossible to study when you cannot even find the material you are required to know.  With her desk messy, it makes the photo look crazy and mind-boggling.  The subject is also starring at the words, “TEST TOMORROW!” placed in the middle of her board. The large font and caps of the words show that this test is important and she needs to study.  This has stressed the subject out leading to chaos on her desk.

This photograph not only signifies some of the struggles that I go through as a student but others as well.  I wanted to take a photo inspired by the struggles of a student today in society because it is relatable to many.  Most students now in society have some form of stress placed on them, or expectations they have to live up to.  It can be a lot of pressure on students and children our age. However, time management and organization are one of the initial steps to take to aid in living a stress-free life.
