When you are young, you believe that superheroes are awesome.  They save people, fight evil, and defend cities from ultimate destruction.  However, in reality, superheroes are only fictional; they do not exist.  Superheroes don’t always have to have superpowers like flight or super strength, there are heroes all around us.

Through education, children are able to further improve their cognitive skills and get more intelligent.  Intelligent people go on in life to do amazing things.  People can grow up and be the head of a major corporation, or the employer of a major law firm, or even the president of the United States. Learning starts young and gets more advanced as you make your way through the different levels of education. Being successful can lead to helping both others and your future family. By helping your family and others within the community, they will look up to you as the hero that you are.

In my photo, I put a “Superman” cape on a pencil to show visually that education can lead to heroic behaviors.  Education is often symbolized through a typically number two pencil, which I utilized in my photograph. In addition, I used the “Superman” cape because Superman is the most well-known superhero, and when people saw his cape, they could automatically relate the pencil to a superhero.  The pencil the boy is using to write shows that education is leading to the subject getting more educated.  Being educated leads to success.
